Topic: John Boles joined Regions Bank in 2015 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Security, directing the bank’s international and cyber investigations. Immediately prior to coming to Regions, Mr. Boles retired as Assistant Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he led the FBI’s international operations and investigations with personnel in 85 countries. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Director, Mr. Boles served as Deputy Assistant Director, in charge of the FBI’s global cyber operations, including the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force.

Mr. Boles served and investigated criminal and national security threats in numerous domestic and international offices, including assignments to the US Embassies in Ukraine and Belarus.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Boles served in the US Navy aboard surface and subsurface combatants.
