The North Alabama Counterintelligence Task Force Link and Learn Program

FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association and InfraGard Huntsville Members Alliance are partnering with FBI Birmingham to support a new virtual “Link and Learn” monthly program.

These free programs will be open to FBI private sector partners and others, including security personnel across North Alabama.

Every third Thursday of each month from 11am -12pm a speaker will be featured on a counterintelligence topic and will include case presentations from the agents and supervisors who worked them.

We hope you will be able to join in on this new program and gain insight on a variety of counterintelligence topics.

Speaker: Matthew Osegard, Unit Chief, National Counterintelligence Task Force, FBI Headquarters

Matt Osegard has served in the FBI since 2004. He worked on and led a wide variety of Counterintelligence and Cyber matters as a Special Agent and Supervisory Special Agent. He is currently the Unit Chief of the National Counterintelligence Task Force, a position he’s held since January 2020. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Osegard served in the Chicago field office.

Prior to his FBI career, Mr. Osegard served as a US Army officer and as a public school teacher in Kentucky. He has a Bachelors’ Degree from Marquette University and a Masters’ Degree in Homeland Security Studies from Tulane University.
